Ed Radonic is a professional musician who plays the organ at Our Lady of Grace in Gravesend, just blocks from Coney Island. His grandfather, Dominick Brugnolotti installed and maintained the mechanical organ at the B&B Carousell for decades. Ed says his grandfather had perfect pitch and describes the work he would do to create the music rolls that would play in mechanical organs. Ed is playing the first and the last songs you hear during this interview on the Our Lady of Grace organ. The song in the middle is a recording of one of Brugnolotti’s organs playing a roll he created.
