Paul Fetscher grew up in Brooklyn in the 1950’s and visited Coney Island with his family. Today, Paul works as a real estate broker and development consultant for the restaurant business. One of his clients is Thor Equities. Thor owns a sizable portion of Coney Island property including the former Astroland Park. Paul discusses the recommendations he gave them for how to develop that land. He compares Coney Island to New York’s South Street Seaport and Boston’s Faneuil Hall. Paul is an avid runner and on the day of this interview, he had just finished running the Brooklyn Half Marathon, which ended in Coney Island.
