Daniel Gomez

Daniel Gomez is a native of Coney Island who works with the Coney Island History Project as a community engagement coordinator. Throughout his life he has found that his path has kept him circling back to the culture and people of Coney Island. As a child he attended and then worked at the PAL NAT Camp that used to function behind the Brooklyn Cyclone's stadium. As a teenager he volunteered at the NY Aquarium, sharing information about the sea critters with tourists and locals alike. Last summer he worked as a stage manager for Coney Island USA’s circus side show, which he says is his favorite job yet. Daniel Gomez currently works at a public school located in Coney Island.
