The late Alex Silverman (who also called himself "Mr. Coney Island") was the proprieter of a Boardwalk souvenir stand located at West 12th Street. He is pictured (at right) in the 1950s in front of his father's souvenir stand located across the street from Feltman's Restaurant and the Cyclone.
