Marian Carbone and Anna Jackson, twin sisters who grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, share their memories of 1950's Coney Island. "It didn't cost much. It was a nice day out. What was it? 15 cents on the train," says Marian.  "Coney Island was our vacation. You didn't have money to go traveling far." They describe riding the Parachute Jump with sailors and the Steeplechase horse race ride in the 1950s. Two unpunched rides remain on their old Steeplechase Park 'Funny Face' ticket. The opportunity to ride the restored B&B Carousell, which used to cost 5 cents for kids and was much faster, brought them back to Coney Island in 2014.
