(Sylvia) Ching Man Wong

(Sylvia) Ching Man Wong is a journalist, media producer and educator born in Hong Kong, based in Brooklyn. She holds a B.A. in Chinese and Bilingual Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since 2013, she worked with New York based Chinese media companies such as World Journal, SinoVision and SinoTV. From 2018-2019 she worked as a community liaison and oral history interviewer for the Coney Island History Project and conducted our first Chinese language walking tour for Immigrant Heritage Week. She is currently studying full-time for an M.S. Ed. in Childhood Education (1-6) with an extension of Bilingual Education at Brooklyn College, CUNY. Sylvia speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
