Alison Cintorrino and her family were original tenants of Luna Park Houses. Born in 1962, she was brought to Luna Park from the hospital as a newborn and lived there for 25 years. Her 86-year-old mother still lives in Luna Park Houses today. Cintorrino describes the unique architecture of the apartment complex, which has outdoor terraces that an early advertisement called "Walkways in the Sky" and an aerial view of the amusement park. Cintorrino shares memories of making friends, going to P.S. 90 across the street and John Dewey High School, riding the Cyclone and the Wonder Wheel, and the New York City blackout of 1977.
