Nick Fracaro

Nick is the former artistic director of Thieves Theatre, a theater company that worked with Coney Island USA in the late 80's to mid-90's. One of Thieves Theatre's early projects after moving to New York was to stage an Anti-Mermaid Rally in conjunction with the annual Mermaid Parade in 1986. He recalls climbing the Parachute Jump tower at night to hang a banner for the rally. Gabriele, his wife and co-producer of the company, joins him in recounting the rally, as well as some of their experiences in working with Coney Island USA.
